Kathleen Engeln, MD

Dr. Kathleen Engeln is a board-certified dermatologist providing comprehensive medical and surgical dermatology care to patients of all ages. She has a special interest in treating eczema, psoriasis, acne, skin cancer, and a wide range of chronic and complex skin conditions.

Dr. Engeln earned her medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and completed her transitional year internship at Scripps Mercy Hospital in San Diego. She went on to complete her dermatology residency at Baylor College of Medicine, where she gained extensive experience caring for diverse patient populations across academic, hospital, and community settings.

Dedicated to patient-centered, evidence-based care, Dr. Engeln believes strongly in building long-term relationships with her patients. She focuses on clear communication, education, and individualized treatment plans so patients feel supported, informed, and confident in managing their skin health.

She is certified by the American Board of Dermatology and is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the Colorado Dermatologic Society.

Outside of the clinic, Dr. Engeln enjoys mountain biking, skiing, scuba diving, traveling, reading, and spending time outdoors.
