What is Forever Young BBL®?
BBL stands for BroadBand Light technology. Forever Young BBL® uses bursts of infrared light to destroy damaged skin cells. At the same time, it’s working below the surface to stimulate the body’s natural ability to regenerate new skin cells.

What is Forever Young BBL® treatment like?
When receiving Forever Young BBL® treatment, the dermatologist applies a cooling gel to the treatment area to reduce discomfort during the procedure. A topical anesthetic may be used on more sensitive areas of the body. Patients wear protective eyewear while laser light pulses are delivered through a chilled applicator.
Treatment can take as little as 15 minutes and most people experience only minor discomfort. There is virtually no downtime and patients can return to their normal routine right away. In most cases, you can apply makeup immediately.
After-effects are few, including a flushed appearance to the skin which disappears within a few hours. Areas of dark skin pigmentation will darken a bit before fading and flaking off. This typically takes a week or two.
Patients should avoid direct sun and tanning beds until their skin heals completely.
How long does it take to see results?
Most patients see rejuvenated skin after three to five treatments spaced a few weeks apart. But many notice incremental changes with each application.
The effects of Forever Young BBL® last several months. Dermatologists suggest two to three treatments a year to maintain youthful, rejuvenated skin.
