Your options for facial surgery

Following are some of the most common cosmetic facial procedures and the issues they address:

Facelift
As we age, our skin begins to loosen and sag. We may start to see deepening wrinkles around the notes and mouth and develop jowls and loose tissue at the neck. Overall, the plumpness of a youthful face begins to thin and settle lower on the face. For some, genetics, environmental exposures, and prolonged sun damage accelerate this process. A facelift, technically called a rhytidectomy can improve the appearance of an aging lower face and neck. [Read More]

Brow lift
Forehead and brow wrinkles are often misinterpreted as stress, anger, fatigue, or sadness. Additionally, aging can cause the eyebrows to droop, leading to a “heavy” brow appearance. A brow lift can improve the shape and position of the eyebrows while also reducing forehead wrinkles. [Read More]

Blepharoplasty
Blepharoplasty is cosmetic eyelid surgery. The procedure removes excess skin and fat around the eyes and tightens the underlying muscle tissue, reducing drooping eyelids and bagginess. In addition to cosmetic purposes, blepharoplasty is sometimes medically necessary. In some cases, extra skin on the upper lid can droop down enough to obstruct a person’s field of vision. Cheek augmentation
Over time, the youthful plumpness over the cheekbones tends to lose volume and settle in the mid-cheek, causing the face to look flat. Cheek augmentation is an excellent way to restore young-looking fullness to the cheeks. [Read More]

Rhinoplasty
If you are unhappy with the shape or size of your nose, or if you have difficulty breathing due to a structural issue within the nose, our board-certified surgeons can help you by performing a cosmetic and/or functional rhinoplasty. [Read More]

Chin augmentation
The chin plays an important part in the structure of a person’s profile. A chin that is either too small or too large can be out of proportion with the rest of the face.
A small chin can make other features like the nose seem bigger than they really are. And the transition between the lower face and the neck may slope down and inward with a small chin, making the neck look fuller. [Read More]

Otoplasty
Otoplasty is a cosmetic surgery that corrects various ear anomalies by adjusting the shape, proportion, or protrusion of the ears. Procedures may reconstruct misshapen or missing cartilage, reshape ears that are asymmetrical or do not match, or fix prominent ears. This last example is the most common otoplasty, also known as “pinning”. The procedure “pins back” ears that stick out more than two centimeters from the head. [Read More]

Lip Injections
Pouty, sensuous lips have long been considered an aesthetic ideal. Youthful lips are full and without surrounding wrinkles and creases, but as we age, we tend to lose volume in the lips. Lipstick also often bleeds into the fine lines that have developed around the mouth. Through the use of dermal fillers, lip augmentation can [Read More]

Fat grafting
Fat grafting allows you to use your own body to add volume in the face, smooth lines and wrinkles, tighten sagging skin, and refresh your look. Learn more about how fat grafting is used in a rhytidectomy—also known as a facelift. [Read More]
