Correct a sagging forehead

Forehead and brow wrinkles are often misinterpreted as stress, anger, fatigue, or sadness. Additionally, aging can cause the eyebrows to droop, leading to a “heavy” brow appearance. A brow lift can improve the shape and position of the eyebrows while also reducing forehead wrinkles.
Most patients report minimal discomfort during the procedure, and recovery to normal activities typically takes a few weeks.

What is brow lift surgery like?

The brow lift can be performed using one of several different techniques. In the past, a brow lift required a long incision to remove extra skin and treat the muscles. This technique is used less often and is only recommended for certain patients.
One of the most common techniques used today is the endoscopic brow lift, which is less invasive. This type of brow lift involves a few small incisions behind the hairline that allow a small camera to be inserted. With this camera, your surgeon can precisely visualize and treat the muscles and tissues required to lift your brows.
The surgery takes one to two hours and is performed with general anesthesia. You will either go home the same day or stay overnight, depending on your individual needs.

Recovering after a brow lift

After a brow lift, patients should relax for seven to 10 days to allow healing. Most people are able to resume a regular work or home schedule after that time period. Most can return to strenuous activity levels in four to six weeks.

What are the risks of brow lift surgery?

Facial surgery, as with all surgical procedures, carries a certain amount of risk. It is important to understand these risks and the possible complications associated with them. Your surgeon will discuss any risks with you during your consultation and pre-operative appointments.

How much does a brow lift cost?

The cost of brow lift surgery depends on several aspects, including the complexity of the procedure and any simultaneous treatments. During your consultation, our team will go over these details, helping you fully understand and address any questions you might have.
