Cheney Chang, PA-C

Originally from Minnesota, Cheney moved to Houston after attending the University of Wisconsin–Madison. His early career began at MD Anderson Cancer Center, where he worked as a clinical research coordinator. Inspired to take a more active role in patient care, he went on to earn his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Practice from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in Chicago. 

During his clinical training, Cheney developed a strong interest in dermatology and completed a preceptorship with a dermatologist at the Great Lakes Naval Base. He is now a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates and is nationally board certified by the NCCPA. 

With 17 years of experience, Cheney provides comprehensive care in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology for patients of all ages. 

Houston has been home to Cheney for over 20 years. Outside of his clinical work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. In his spare time, he is an avid runner, traveler, and amateur photographer who also loves exploring new restaurants. 

Cheney joins Forefront Dermatology, serving patients in League City, Sugar Land, and Houston (Katy) locations. He is fluent in Taiwanese and speaks conversational Spanish and Mandarin Chinese.
