J. Scott Kasteler, MD, FAAD

Dr. Kasteler is a board-certified dermatologist with over 25 years of experience, including leading the Forefront Dermatology practice in Jeffersonville, Indiana from 2014 until March 2021 when he relocated and opened his newest practice in Gilbert, Arizona. He specializes in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions of the hair, skin, and nails, such as acne, eczema and psoriasis as well as skin cancer – a prevalent issue in our community. Dr. Kasteler treats every patient as if they were family and always strives to find a treatment plan that fits the lifestyle and budget of each patient. Outside of the clinic, you will find him spending time with his grandchildren or on a golf course.

I have a history of skin cancer and have had both good and bad drs in past. My experience here has been very good! Thorough and professional and explains everything. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Kasteler. I have a history of basal cell carcinoma on my face and he found another spot on my face when I was a new patient to him. He was able to remove it and treat it so conservatively compared to my previous dermatologist and I’m forever thankful. I go in for skin checks every 6 months now and he is always compassionate and honest and I truly feel like he has his patients best interests at heart. I happily drive 30 minutes each way to see Dr. Kasteler! He’s amazing!
