Located at 1000 Knotts Point Ln., Suite 105, Suffolk, VA 23435, the new practice will offer comprehensive care for skin, hair, and nails along with cosmetic dermatology services for patients throughout the growing Harbour View and Northern Suffolk region.
The opening of the Harbour View practice marks Forefront Dermatology’s continued investment in expanding access to expert, patient-centered dermatologic care throughout Virginia, ensuring more patients can receive high-quality treatment close to home.
The clinic will be led by Akachi Awuruonye, DO, FAAD, a board-certified dermatologist known for her advanced expertise in hair loss, keloid treatment, cyst removal, scarring management, pigmentary disorders, complex dermatology, and comprehensive care for all skin types. Dr. Awuruonye brings a strong foundation in evidence-based medicine and is widely regarded for her collaborative, whole-person approach to dermatology. Her clinical interests also include hair and scalp disorders, medical and cosmetic dermatology, acne, and eczema care, and skin cancer prevention and treatment.
