REQUEST NOWWhat is body contouring?
Body contouring, also known as body sculpting, can dramatically improve the shape and proportion of your body by reducing excess fat and/or sagging skin and tissue. Areas treated may include:
- neck
- upper arms
- female and male breasts
- abdomen
- flanks
- back
- hips
- buttocks
- thighs
- knees
- ankles
Your desired aesthetic goals may be achieved in one surgical session or may be performed in stages. Your physician will discuss your overall health, the type and extent of procedures being considered, and the desired outcome during the consultation process.
What to expect during a body contouring consultation
We believe you need to be well informed about the cosmetic procedure(s) in which you are interested, including the pre-and post-operative expectations. At your initial consultation, you will meet with a physician to discuss your concerns and personal goals. Feel free to bring in images of looks that you do or don’t like to help us understand your aesthetic taste. The surgeon will then examine you and offer their opinion on how to best achieve your goals.
Choosing a surgeon is an intensely personal decision. We encourage you to take the time to question the physician and their team. We believe the formation of a personal bond is an integral part of the surgery and healing process.
Because body contouring carries a certain amount of risk, your physician will discuss possible complications or adverse events associated with the surgery.
