She was raised in Wisconsin and received her Bachelor of Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. There she competed on the Women’s Rowing team as a four-time letter winner and Academic All-Big Ten recipient. She completed her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Rush University and is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants (AAPA), Illinois Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (SDPA), Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants (ISDPA), and Diversity in Dermatology.
