Dr. Beatrix Edmonds is a graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute.  She attended Eastern Virginia Medical School for two years and then transferred to Louisiana State University.  She completed her internship at Alton Oschner Hospital and a Dermatology Residency at Louisiana State University in New Orleans. Dr. Edmonds has enjoyed practicing adult and pediatric dermatology for the last 14 years in the Virginia Beach and Kempsville offices.  She is an American Academy of Dermatology member and is board certified. She performs flaps and grafts for skin cancer surgery, medium depth chemical peels, sclerotherapy, laser for rosacea and injections of fillers and Botox. She resides in Virginia Beach with her husband (an ophthalmologist) and three daughters.

Dr. Edmonds is a knowledgeable and compassionate physician. I am going through a rough time with my skin and sometimes feel it is useless to continue with treatment. But, then I go in for my appointment and once again I have hope. Forefront Dermatology is an outstanding organization with incredible people. I am very lucky to have found them.

Dr. Edmonds is wonderful!! She is very knowledgeable and professional during her exams. She answers questions and makes sure you understand all that has happened during your appointment. Her assistant at the First Colonial office, Angela, is great too! I would highly recommend for anyone needing an excellent dermatologist!

Dr Edmonds is absolutely the most caring and most thorough dermatologist in this area. I really cannot brag on her enough. She is persistent in her recommendations on how to take care of your skin but she is never harsh or condemning. She found a melonoma on me and took care of it right away. You cannot go wrong with Dr Edmonds as your dermatologist
