I want each patient to feel as though I have listened to them and that I’m caring and compassionate. I try to understand how their condition affects them. Patients often tell me that I’m very thorough, which translates into taking the time needed to treat their condition.

Had a medical issue. I needed Dr Gershtenson to see my right hip area for a cyist which was infected. She made time the next day and treated it. However the desk told me that I would have to wait a couple weeks before I could be seen.. Thank you again Dr Gershtenson...

I’ve been a long time patient of Dr. Platina Coy Gershtenson and recommend her highly. She is professional, polite and listens to concerns. She is also great at explaining conditions and how to care for conditions and skin concerns. She also has a great bedside manner.

Dr. Gershtenson is always very thorough. She asks if I have any areas in particular that I want her to look at. Then she proceeds to give a very complete examination of the skin all over my body. When she finishes she asks if I have any questions. Her thorough exams have found a spot of cancer on my face and warts on the bottom of my foot. She spotted the skin cancer while it was still small and removable. Thank you, Dr. Gershtenson!

This was my first time going to a Dermatologist. Dr. Gershtenson Assistant in the front was very caring and helpful. But Dr. Gershtenson just didn't seem to really care to much. My opinion is because I just have medicare. She did one Biopsy, I'm waiting for the results on that. So I'll see. Thank you to the Doctor Assistant and the front end Associates.
