I want each patient to feel as though I have listened to them and that I’m caring and compassionate. I try to understand how their condition affects them. Patients often tell me that I’m very thorough, which translates into taking the time needed to treat their condition.

The nurse and Dr were very pleasant but professional. Enjoyed my appointment even with having to go through full body search and a biopsy. The conversation was distracting and helped me stay calm. Now I hope and pray I have negative biopsy results.

Dr. Gershtenson was very compassionate & listened to my concerns. She treated the skin issue I was having. She explained what she would be doing & told me what to expect during my healing process. Dr Gershtenson encouraged me to return if I continued to have a problem. I really appreciate having her as my Dermatologist. I recommend Dr. Gershtenson to anyone seeking a good & caring Dermatologist.

No doctor has cared as much to figure out what my problem was. She took great care to determine the correct treatment.

A very thorough exam and seemed very concerned about your understanding of everything.

We waited 30min to see the doctor. This is either poor scheduling or some kind of lack of organization. It’s understandable if it’s a surgeon or GYN but it’s a dermatologist office. The medical assistant was using medical terminology with my 17 year old daughter. This made her scared and confused since she doesn’t know medical terms for body parts and medications. I’m glad I was with her to interrupt (I have a nursing background). She also was inattentive to what the doctor wanted her to do (take her bp). The doctor was a bit impatient and gave us a sense that she didn’t believe what my daughter was telling her. Unfortunately, this is the only dermatologist office our insurance covers in town so we are stuck with this office. We have another daughter who has has similar experiences with this office as well.

Probably one of the very best experiences I have ever had in a medical office! From the check in to the check out everything was quick and easy. Dr. Gershtensen is superb. Very professional and knowledgeable. I will definitely be referring my friends and clients to her.
