Douglas Hansen, MD

Douglas A. Hansen, MD, is a board-certified dermatopathologist with over 25 years of experience including special expertise in immunohistochemistry and infectious disease. Dr. Hansen has held numerous leadership roles prior to his time at Forefront including medical director, laboratory director, and managing partner. At Forefront, he is currently a member of the Forefront Physician Board of Directors. His diagnostic acumen is universally strong, but he has particular enthusiasm for melanocytic pathology. Clinicians love his concise diagnoses and rapid turnaround times. Outside of the laboratory, Dr. Hansen enjoys skiing and traveling with family.
