Dr. Rachael W. Bush’s Daily Skincare Routine:

Morning Routine

I start by cleansing with the PCA Skin pigment bar, which leaves my skin feeling fresh and clean without any dryness. Then, I apply Revision Skincare C+ correcting complex to keep my skin looking bright and radiant. Sunscreen is a non-negotiable step, so I finish with Elta MD UV Clear tinted sunscreen, giving my skin protection and a subtle tint all in one. And of course, I can’t forget about my lips! A dab of Revision Skincare, a youthful lip replenisher, keeps them soft and hydrated throughout the day.

If I’m dealing with breakouts, I follow the Revision facial wash with CeraVe acne foaming cream cleanser and follow up with any topicals recommended by my dermatologist.

Nightly Routine

I start my nightly skincare routine by washing my face with Revision Skincare Brightening Facial Wash. Next, I gently dab on Obagi Elastiderm Eye Cream to hydrate and target any signs of aging around the delicate eye area. Then, I apply a pea-sized amount of tretinoin to my entire face, working to improve skin texture and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. When I was pregnant, I removed tretinoin from my routine and replaced it with a glycolic acid serum. To lock in moisture, I opt for either SkinCeuticals Emollience Moisturizer or La Roche Posay Triple Moisturizing Cream, depending on my skin’s needs that night. Both provide nourishing hydration without feeling heavy or greasy. Finally, I finish with a swipe of Revision Skincare Youthful Lip Replenisher to keep my lips soft and nourished. It’s a simple yet effective routine that helps me wake up to smoother, more radiant skin every morning.

Dr. Rachael W. Bush’s Insider Secret!

Tinted sunscreen is a powerful way to get a foundation appearance while protecting your skin. Tinted is especially important for melanin-rich skin. This sunscreen protects the skin from sun-induced aging, provides an even skin tone, and prevents the worsening of pigmented dermatoses, melasma, and post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation.
