Timothy Jackson, MHS, PA-C
Mr. Jackson was born in Asheville, NC and grew up in Michigan. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Eastern Connecticut State University and continued his education by earning a Master’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences from the exclusive Quinnipiac University.
While attending graduate school, Tim handled the Dermatologic Clinical Research program at Yale University School of Medicine. During his tenure at Yale Dermatology, he trained under Dr. Ronald C. Savin, the pioneer in the field of dermatology and hair restoration, Tim has conducted over 500 research studies that contributed to many of the successful dermatologic products on the market today.
In 2000, Tim began his Physician Assistant studies at The Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Upon graduating magna cum laude – he entered into a post-graduate residency program in Cardiothoracic Surgery at the prestigious Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City. After completing residency, Tim continued to work in the field of Cardiothoracic Surgery in New York and ultimately relocated to Virginia Beach where his family resides.
In 2005, Tim returned to his first love Dermatology joining Drs Tompkins, Edmonds, and Menon. Tim specializes in medical and surgical Dermatology for adolescent and adults.Tim is a member of the American Academy of PA’s, Society of Dermatology PA’s, and the Virginia Academy of PA’s.
He is married to his wife Amy, a consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton and has a son, Brody.
