Morgan L. Magid, MD, FAAD

Morgan L. Magid, M.D. is a Board-certified dermatologist and dermatologic surgeon. He graduated from the University of California at San Diego and received his medical degree from Vanderbilt University School of Medicine in Nashville, Tennessee. He completed his specialty training in dermatology at Northwestern University in Chicago. He is a Clinical Associate Professor of Dermatology at the University of California at San Francisco Medical Center. He is a diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology as well as a member of the American Society of Mohs Surgery. He has been practicing in Santa Cruz since 1988. Dr. Magid is very active in the community and is also the medical director of the Dominican Hospital Gang Tattoo Removal Program.

Dr. Magid loves all aspects of dermatology and dermatologic surgery. He loves the game of tennis and has played since age 10.

I really liked Dr. Magid. Thorough, quick and honest. Got right to the issue at hand. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes. We live in Texas half the year but visit the Bay Area regularly due to family and needed an alternative solution to my garbage VA Insurance back in Austin. I gladly paid out of pocket versus dance around the circus act required for VA authorization. Incidentally, before I left Austin, I saw the VA House Dermatologist. He told me, without any clothing removal, everything looks great - seeya next year.....absolute VA incompetence. Dr. Magid burned multiple skin problems with Liquid Nitrogen. I will absolutely return.

First off the staff was able to squeeze me in as I needed to start my light treatments asap Then Dr. Magid was as nice as always and made me feel comfortable to discuss my concerns and put me at ease about things I thought might be dire but it was not! I e been coming to this office for over 50 years. First with Dr Israel ( back in the day) when we all had dark hair. Then Dr Magid took over and the transition went very smooth. I will keep coming back again and again! Thank you Dr Magid and your staff !
