I am a new patient and my experience exceeded expectations. Before I could complete paperwork, I was called back for my appointment. There was literally no wait. The staff were all friendly and thorough. Great experience!

Kayla was very sweet and I am grateful she found a spot on my ear that I did not know I had and wasn’t being seen for…. As a health care provider myself I advocate for patient education as being almost as important as diagnosis and treatment courses…. I have to say that I had to go home and research Basal Cell Carcinoma on my own because that is what I was told I most likely had and was told “ If you get cancer that is the best kind to get”….. she then said she was going to biopsy the sites and they would be in touch with me… I certainly didn’t feel reassured or have a good idea of a plan other than her telling me that they had a DR there that performed Mohs surgery, I had to of course research that myself as well…. The student PA that was observing the day I was being seen appeared to want to be anywhere but where she was…. I have been a nurse for 44 years and have to say that I was disappointed with my visit as far as education about my case…. We have to remember that Cancer is a very intimidating word even if it is not typically life threatening. I walked in to my appointment and in less than 10 minutes walked out with a possible diagnosis of Basal Cell Cancer,If I wasn’t medical and able to research and comfort myself about all of this I can’t imagine how someone without medical background would feel….. just my thoughts, and I am grateful for the procedure that was provided professionally and quickly….
