Frank J. Ferritto, MPAS, PA-C
Mr. Ferritto is a board-certified Physician Associate who specializes in dermatology.
Frank is a native of Detroit, Michigan. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Vocational Education and Training from the University of Southern Illinois and both a Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Physician Assistant studies with a focus in Family Medicine. from the University of Nebraska. With 30 years as a Physician Associate, he has a broad spectrum of experience including Family Practice, Emergency/Acute Care Medicine and Executive Medicine. He has worked the last 17 years in dermatology. Frank’s primary focus is medical and surgical dermatology with specific interests in cancer surgery, advanced acne, rosacea, eczema and psoriasis.
Frank is a 25 year veteran of the United States Coast Guard, retiring from active duty in 2005. He had the distinction and honor of being selected as the first Coast Guard Medical Officer to serve as a member of the White House Medical Unit. Upon his retirement, he received one of our nation’s highest non-combat military award, The Defense Distinguished Service Medal, for accomplishments while serving as a member of the White House staff.
Mr. Ferritto is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants. Frank is married to Megan, who is from Wilson, NC. He has three children and 5 grandchildren. He spends his free time with Megan at their home in Morehead City, traveling, playing golf and pickle ball and exercising. He attends Summit Church in Raleigh and One Harbor Church in Morehead City.
