Dr. Deborah Huebbe Youhn is a board-certified dermatologist with over 20 years of experience specializing in medical and surgical dermatology. As your physician of choice, Dr. Youhn has experience treating a wide variety of skin issues that can affect both children and adults. She understands the significant impact your skin’s health can have on your overall well-being and happiness.

Dr.  Youhn specializes in the following:

  • Skin cancer detection and treatment of cancerous, precancerous, and benign lesions
  • Treatment of acne, eczema, dermatitis, warts, and rosacea
  • Diagnosis of chronic and complex dermatologic conditions
  • Removal of DPN and skin tags

A native of Northern California, Dr. Youhn has practiced in Oregon, Pennsylvania, and Alabama, but the Midwest holds a special place in her life. Chicago is where she received her medical training, met her husband, and started a family. She recently relocated back to the Midwest and is excited to be a part of the Iowa City and Coralville communities.

Dr Huebbe Youhn is wonderful. She’s thorough, friendly and very kind to a patient with my deteriorating memory. This is the least favorite of my many yearly appointments due to my age, and she makes it as comfortable as it can be. The staff are great too.

Dr. Huebbe Youhn is the best! From my first appointment, when she was suspicious of an area of my skin that indeed turned out to be Melanoma, I can say I trust her completely. She is so knowledgeable, professional, friendly and I wouldn't go anywhere else. Always a wonderful experience!

Dr. Youhn was simply terrific. She is smart, thorough, passionate about her work, and authentically empathetic. I had been truly miserable for weeks due to unexpected skin issues, and while it will still take time for the medicine to work its magic, I already felt better right when I left because she worked her magic so very well. Finally, her assistant remained in the exam room to ensure that she heard the instructions from Dr. Yoohn in real time. If the system would allow it, I’d give my experience with Dr. Yoohn and her whole team 50 stars and not just 5. On my way to being itch and pain free. I can’t thank them enough.
