Amanda McIntire Daggett, MD, FAAD
A native of Jackson, MS, Dr. Amanda McIntire Daggett is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic conditions of the skin, hair, and nails. Additionally, she takes a special interest in treating acne, hair loss, and providing comprehensive skin care regimen evaluations and consultations. Dr. Daggett received a Bachelor of Science undergraduate degree in biology from the University of Mississippi where she graduated Summa Cum Laude. She then went on to graduate from the University of Mississippi School of Medicine, ranked 1st in her graduating class, earning her the Waller S. Leathers Award for the highest academic average for four years as a medical student. She is a member of the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Society and the Gold Humanism Honor Society. Dr. Daggett completed her internal medicine internship at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills, California, before entering the dermatology program at Tulane University School of Medicine where she served as chief resident in her final year. She has multiple publications in peer-reviewed journals and has given many presentations in the field of dermatology. She is licensed to practice in Mississippi, Louisiana, and Indiana.
Dr. Daggett is excited to open her practice in Ridgeland, MS and provide dermatological services in the Jackson Metropolitan Area, where her family still resides. She hopes to build long-lasting relationships with her patients and ties to the community. She deeply cares for every individual she has the honor to meet and care for and takes the trust they place in her very seriously. She strives to always be thorough when discussing diagnosis and treatment and to be up-to-date with the newest treatments and discoveries in the field of dermatology, allowing her patients access to the most advanced care possible.
