Board-certified dermatologist ​Dr. Luciann Hruza was born and raised in New York City.  She attended college and medical school at Boston University School of Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts.  She completed her dermatology residency at Washington University School of Medicine in Saint Louis in 1992.  Additionally, she completed a fellowship in photo biology at  Harvard Medical School in 1993.  Dr. Hruza has been in practice since 1993.

Dr. Hruza has been nominated as a “Best Doctor” in St. Louis Magazine in Dermatology since 2006.

I am beyond disappointed with my recent visit to Forefront Dermatology with Dr. Luciann Hruza. After waiting over six months for this appointment, I expected a FULL-BODY SKIN EXAMINATION—the very reason anyone sees a dermatologist. Instead, I was given what amounted to HALF AN EXAM. When I arrived, I was told to undress from the waist up. That struck me as odd since a proper skin check is supposed to cover the entire body. Dr Luciann Hruza is by far my favorite Dr. She is very thorough and honestly I owe my life to her. She found melanoma on my leg many years ago. She removed it and continues to check me regularly to make sure I stay healthy. She is always very pleasant all while telling you what you need to hear from a Dr. Many of my family members also choose Dr. Hruza for their dermatology needs. We all love her!! You will not be disappointed in choosing her!!!
