I’ve been seeing Amber Long at Forefront Dermatology for several years now. She is very professional and personable. She always answers my questions and takes care of any dermatological issues I may be having. She is just what a care provider should be.

I have going to Amber for many (many) years. I have intermittently been to other dermatologists and facial anesthetics providers (mostly because Amber's office is not close to me). But, I keep going back to Amber as she is honest, empathetic, kind-- and, importantly, great at what she does! I genuinely appreciate her advice and skill.

Dr. Long always takes good care of me. She’s always cheerful and addresses/treats any concerns I have. Thank you, Dr. Long. I was also in the health field for 30 years and I think as is true for many professions, when our work becomes repetitious, it can be hard to keep the “care” in our healthcare or any Customer Service. Yet, we made the commitment to the work, so we have to sustain it. People’s health is the most valuable thing in their lives besides their belief system, so healthcare workers walk a thin line, having to perform well, 24/7. Of course, this is stressful at times and requires healthcare workers to keep a well balanced life. Not sure what others think but sometimes I wonder if when we visit a doctor, if they asked us, how are you doing, how are you doing really?, I bet the doctors would get some different responses & people may feel more cared for ? I’m not certain. Sadly, it seems insurance companies drive how much time doctors can actually spend with patients which is not how healthcare should be. The patient’s concerns should be first and doctors should have as much time as they need to address those concerns. JMO. Thanks for receiving my comments.

Amber made me feel comfortable and at ease, like we were friends. Her removal of two spots for biopsy’s was quick and pain free. Only negative is how quickly medical appts are these days. In and out but not a reflection of Amber.
