Cari sees patients at Knight Dermatology Institute in Winter Park, Florida.
Cari is an established and highly skilled physician assistant with over 10 years of experience in allergy and dermatology. She is well regarded in the Orlando community for providing quality, patient-centered, and compassionate care. She is noted for her sensitivity, rapport, and professionalism in relating to patients and their families. Cari is also fluent in both English and Spanish, allowing her to serve a broader patient base.
After graduating from the University of Florida with a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Entomology/Nematology and Microbiology, Cari earned her Master of Clinical Medical Science degree and Physician Assistant Diploma from Barry University, graduating with honors and as Salutatorian. She also received the President’s Award by the Barry University PA program in recognition of outstanding community service, academic, and clinical achievement.
Born in Havana, Cuba, Cari came to the US when she was eleven years old and grew up in South Florida. She is married and has two dogs named Daisy and Tyson. She loves to spend time with her family and enjoys traveling and gardening. She is a cancer survivor, which led to her decision to become a Physician Assistant. She loves educating her patients and enjoys establishing long-standing clinician/patient relationships with them.
Cari is board-certified by the National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants. She is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants, Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants, and the Florida Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.
