I am beyond disappointed with my recent visit to Forefront Dermatology with Dr. Luciann Hruza. After waiting over six months for this appointment, I expected a FULL-BODY SKIN EXAMINATION—the very reason anyone sees a dermatologist. Instead, I was given what amounted to HALF AN EXAM. When I arrived, I was told to undress from the waist up. That struck me as odd since a proper skin check is supposed to cover the entire body. The nurse then informed me that the first visit is “just a get-to-know-you” appointment and that they don’t schedule time for a full-body exam. I was stunned. I didn’t wait half a year and pay for this appointment just to have half my skin inspected. SKIN CANCER DOES NOT ONLY DEVELOP ON THE UPPER BODY--THIS POLICY MAKES ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. What I received was a superficial, incomplete exam. Dr. Hruza seemed distracted and conversational rather than thorough, and the brief inspection she performed left me questioning whether anything was truly evaluated. I HAVE HAD
