Mitchell Herold, MD, FAAD

Dr. Mitchell Herold is a board-certified dermatologist and fellowship-trained Mohs and reconstructive surgeon who specializes in skin cancer. After attending the University of Florida College of Medicine in Gainesville, Florida, Dr. Herold completed his dermatology residency at the University of Arizona College of Medicine: Tucson, Arizona in 2023. Upon finishing his residency, Dr. Herold joined the Skin Care Physicians of Georgia in Macon, GA for his Mohs surgery fellowship.  

Committed to providing personalized care, Dr. Herold leverages his expertise in a way that allows patients to fully participate in their own care. With extensive training in Mohs surgery, reconstruction, and cutaneous oncology, Dr. Herold focuses on treating both advanced and aggressive skin cancers requiring complex surgical reconstruction with open communication to achieve excellent outcomes.
