Clear + Brilliant is a laser treatment designed to help fight, or even prevent, early signs of aging by working on the surface layers of the skin. It’s stronger than a light chemical peel, but gentler than CO2 laser resurfacing. Patients experience a subtle glow and improvements in minor skin flaws with little to no downtime.
What is a Clear + Brilliant session like?
Each laser treatment takes about 30 minutes from beginning to end. Just prior to treatment, your provider will apply a topical numbing cream to your face for comfort. Then, they will gently guide the Clear + Brilliant handpiece across the target area to actively treat your skin for approximately 15 minutes. To ensure uniform application is maintained, we use the patented Intelligent Optical Tracking™ System (IOTS™) to monitor treatment.
What results can be expected from Clear + Brilliant?
Immediately post treatment, you may experience some redness and mild swelling, but both typically diminish in about 12 hours. Over the next few days, you may experience some itchiness or skin sensitivity (to touch or temperature). Both are indications of the natural renewal process and typically dissipate a few days after treatment.
Most skin care products and practices can be continued immediately after treatment. Your Forefront skin care professional will talk to you about any products to avoid.
