How does DermaPen® work?

Dermapen is a microneedling skin treatment which treats wrinkles, acne scars, burns, and more.

The Dermapen microneedling pen provides the fractional delivery of microneedles, creating microinjuries to the epidermis and dermis. These micro injuries stimulate the body's natural healing response to repair the skin and promote collagen production.

The Dermapen microneedling pen uses sterile, sealed individual disposable needle cartridges for optimal patient safety, comfort, and results. Every Dermapen needle tip has multiple needles, with proprietary technology, penetrating vertically generating small micro skin channels, while stimulating the skin's natural ability to heal itself while increasing the production of new collagen.

How can DermaPen® treat?

This treatment is generally safe on all skin types. It is also ideal for patients who do not want laser treatments but want more rejuvenation than what typical peels and microdermabrasion can offer.

What results can be expected from DermaPen®?

The treatment is similar to laser treatments, but without the severe side effects or the long recovery time. There are some studies that show it is more effective than traditional microdermabrasion and chemical peels.
