Sara Johnson, PA-C

Sara Johnson, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant offering expert dermatologic care at Forefront Dermatology in Mechanicsville, VA. With a passion for patient care and a dedication to dermatology, Sara strives to create a welcoming and supportive environment where patients feel at ease discussing their skin concerns. She obtained her bachelor’s degree and Master of Healthcare Administration from Marshall University in Huntington, WV, and her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Charleston in Charleston, WV. 

Practicing since 2020, Sara specializes in skin cancer detection and treatment, including full body skin exams, as well as treating a range of conditions such as acne, psoriasis, eczema, rashes, rosacea, hyperhidrosis, and hidradenitis suppurativa. Sara is also skilled in managing high-risk medications, including biologics and isotretinoin. 

Born and raised in the mountains of West Virginia, Sara is married to her high school sweetheart and is a proud mother of four children. She is committed to delivering comprehensive, individualized dermatologic care through thorough examinations and patient education, emphasizing prevention to achieve the best outcomes.
