Dr. Adkisson is a board-certified dermatologist who was born and raised in West Texas. She graduated summa cum laude from Texas A&M University. Dr. Adkisson received her medical training at McGovern Medical School in Houston, Texas where she received several awards for academic achievement and was a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Society. Following an internship at Methodist Hospital in Houston, Texas, she completed her dermatology training at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple, Texas. Dr. Adkisson also participated in in melanoma research at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She is a fellow of the American Board of Dermatology.
After spending the last 15 years in Florida, she is excited to get back to her roots in Texas. In her spare time she enjoys, traveling, reading, hiking and spending time with her family.
