One of the most rewarding aspects of working in dermatology is helping patients regain confidence in their skin. Witnessing the positive impact these improvements have on their self-esteem and quality of life is incredibly fulfilling. I also find great meaning in the preventive side of dermatology—detecting and treating skin cancers early, and educating patients on how to protect their skin for the long term.
