Madeline Schaeffer, DO, FAAD

Dr. Madeline Schaeffer is a board-certified dermatologist and an active member of the American Academy of Dermatology. She serves patients of all ages and specializes in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology. Originally from Illinois, Dr. Schaeffer studied Biological Sciences at the University of Illinois at Chicago where she graduated summa cum laude. She then obtained her medical degree from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine where she was awarded the Glasgow-Rubin Citation for Academic Achievement and the Alumni Association Merit Scholarship. Dr. Schaeffer completed her internship and dermatology residency at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She received awards for the presentation of her research during all three years of dermatology training.

Dr. Schaeffer resides in the Milwaukee area with her husband and three children. In her free time, you can find her trying out new dermatologic products, eating Italian food, and spending time with her family.

It is also her mission to stay up to date with the newest dermatologic literature and emerging treatment options so patients can confidently receive the utmost care. Dr. Schaeffer specializes in:

Madeline is great, very knowledgeable and I learned a lot from her, more than my previous dermatologist told me. She also takes the time to answer questions and doesn’t rush you out. The procedure went smooth Around 1:40. Later on, around 6pm, I was walking and felt something wet going down my back. I went into the bathroom to find a lot of blood going down my back. I’m not sure if a stitch broke, or if blood escaped the bandage, so I was trying to clean it up and put gauze and tape over the bangdage that was put on it since I was home alone. I tried calling Forefront to see if there was a person on call, but no such luck.
