Emily Wilson Pyne, NP-C

Emily W. Pyne, CRNP, FNP-C, DCNP, is a board-certified Dermatology Nurse Practitioner with a passion for providing personalized, compassionate, care. Emily is one of the few Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner’s in the Baltimore/Howard County region, bringing specialized expertise to the area. Emily’s journey into medicine started with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) in 2008, followed by a second Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2011, and a Master of Science in Nursing in 2018. Emily worked for VCU Health System for approximately 8 years, where she built a strong foundation in acute care and general medicine.

Since moving to Maryland in 2021, Emily has been a part of the Forefront Dermatology team in Ellicott City. Emily sees patients of all ages, from infants to older adults, and treats a wide range of skin conditions such as acne, atopic dermatitis, psoriasis, and skin cancer. She also performs skin checks, biopsies, excisions, and other dermatologic procedures. With a background in both Primary Care/Family Medicine and Dermatology, Emily takes a wholistic approach to care, blending medical knowledge with a genuine interest in her patient’s well-being. She believes in making each visit comfortable and collaborative, always taking time to listen and create treatment plans that align with each person’s unique needs and goals. Emily loves getting to know her patients and building long-term relationships. Whether it’s your first visit or a follow up, you can count on her to be approachable, thorough, and dedicated to helping you feel confident in your skin.
