Dr. Nietert is a Board-Certified Dermatologist whose professional areas of interest include: medical, surgical and cosmetic dermatology. She sees patients of all ages and has a special interest in skin cancer detection and treatment, psoriasis, acne and cosmetic dermatology including wrinkle fillers and Botox®. She is also a part-time faculty member at Southern Illinois University where she teaches dermatology residents. Dr. Nietert was born and raised in Wausau and is happy to be back home.

Dr. Nietert is an excellent physician! She is a wonderful communicator, and has a genuine concern for her patients. A few years ago, she found a mole that needed immediate attention. Now every year when I see her for my skin exam I celebrate another year. Most primary care physicians no longer look at your skin during an annual physical unless you mention a specific issue. I would encourage everyone to find a dermatologist and have a professional exam. It could save your life.

I had my skin cancer recheck with Dr. Nietert. As always, she is so sweet & attentive. I have been seeing Dr. Nietert since I had to have skin cancer surgery. It’s always a relief to know, after Dr. Nietert does her skin recheck on me, to hear her give me the results: you have no skin cancer. I will see Dr. Nietert in another 2 years.

I was in for a basic skin screening. Dr. Nietert is very thorough and pleasant and addresses every question you'll have, which helps you to feel calm and relaxed. Sure I could have gotten in sooner under a different doctor, but it's Dr. Nietert I prefer over all others 🙂.

Dr Nietert is one of the best! She is very understanding and listens to a patients’ concern. She is very positive and makes you feel comfortable at all times. Her caring and concern for her patients is noticeable. I especially appreciate her monthly visits back to Wausau so we can stay in touch.
