Dr. Carol Trakimas is our Medical Director at Forefront Dermatology Goldsboro. She is a board-certified Dermatologist with 26 years of experience in complex medical, surgical, and cosmetic consultations. Dr. Trakimas specializes in the assessment and treatment of complex inflammatory disorders such as psoriasis, autoimmune disorders, acne care and complexion blending, skin cancer detection and skin cancer surgeries.  Additionally, Dr. Trakimas is highly skilled in cosmetic treatments for skin rejuvenation and noted for her work in reverse aging. Her aesthetic services include benign lesion destruction, Botox, fillers, bio-rejeuvenative aesthetic services, and laser treatments for rejuvenation of the skin.

Dr Trakimas is a former US Army Lieutenant Colonel and noted for her community service work within the USA, especially within the state of North Carolina. 

As your dermatologist of choice, Dr. Trakimas is dedicated to providing her patients with the best experience possible. She takes pride in giving her patients back the confidence they lacked as a result of their skin concerns.
