Dr. Andrew Villanueva is a dermatologist and a board-certified, fellowship-trained Mohs Surgeon. With his expertise in skin, hair, and nails, he brings comprehensive care to patients of all ages and genders. As a Mohs surgeon, Dr. Villanueva specializes in accurately identifying and treating high-risk skin cancers, employing precise techniques that preserve healthy tissue for optimal reconstruction. He goes beyond treatment, actively educating patients on preventive measures to safeguard against future skin cancers, fostering enduring relationships built on knowledge and care.
Graduating from EVMS Dermatology, Dr. Villanueva holds a deep connection to Hampton Roads. Returning to his educational roots was a natural choice, enabling him to give back to the community that played a pivotal role in his training. Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Villanueva cherishes time with his family. Married to his college sweetheart, he is a proud father of two and shares his home with a delightful 13-year-old chocolate lab named Bishop. In his leisure moments, he enjoys fitness activities, indulging in movies, deep-sea fishing, tending to his garden, and creating lasting memories with loved ones through cookouts and travel.
