Forefront Dermatology
Had an appointment with her today. Found the staff to be very friendly and efficient. I also found both her assistant and her to be very professional, thorough and pleasant to deal with. She did do a biopsy which my primary care physician said would be necessary to identify a skin issue that I'm having. All in all very pleased.

I was seen by Ms. Andrisin in Gainesville Dermatology and I found her incompetent and unprofessional, almost malicious. She seemed resolved from the start to dismiss my issue, so she didn't go through the standard diagnostic process, instead ordering an invasive and expensive biopsy (which she botched). At the time I thought she actually believed the biopsy was necessary because I thought her honest and professional, but a physician I later consulted suspected it was just to scare me away. She had a condescending and rude attitude. The few occasions when she listened to me at all was to look for gotchas, cases where I didn't phrase something correctly in medical terms, which as a non-professional I shouldn't be expected to.
