Sarah began her professional journey at a bustling dermatology practice in the western suburbs of Chicago. For approximately nine years, she was an integral part of a team that provided comprehensive dermatological services to a diverse patient population. Her time there allowed her to develop a robust set of skills and a deep understanding of various dermatological conditions and treatments.
In September 2024, Sarah will be joining Advanced Dermatology, where she will continue to expand her practice. At Advanced Dermatology, Sarah’s role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities, from diagnosing and treating common skin conditions to performing surgical procedures and offering cosmetic dermatology services. Her holistic approach ensures that her patients receive the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs.
ACADEMIC BACKGROUND
Sarah’s academic achievements laid a strong foundation for her career in dermatology. Growing up in the south suburbs of Chicago, she cultivated a passion for science and medicine early on. She pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Integrative Biology and a Minor in Chemistry. Her exceptional academic performance highlighted her dedication and aptitude for the medical field.
Following her undergraduate studies, Sarah attended Midwestern University in Downers Grove, IL, where she completed her physician assistant program. In 2015, she earned her Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Studies. This rigorous program equipped her with the knowledge and skills necessary to excel in her role as a physician assistant, particularly in the specialized field of dermatology.
