Robert Peter Fort III, MD, FAAD

Dr. Robert Fort earned his medical degree from Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine and completed his Master of Business Administration at the Smeal College of Business in 2021. Following his formal education, he undertook an Internal Medicine internship at Allegheny General Hospital, finishing in 2022, and completed his Dermatology residency at the University of Rochester in 2025. Originally from the North Hills area of Pittsburgh, Dr. Fort is grateful to return home to be with family and friends after his extensive training. He is now seeing patients at Forefront Dermatology’s clinics in Pittsburgh and Wexford, Pennsylvania. 

Dr. Fort specializes in medical, procedural, and cosmetic dermatology. His expertise includes skin cancer detection and treatment, management of acne, eczema, hair loss, fungal and bacterial infections, psoriasis, rosacea, rashes, vitiligo, and other skin conditions. He also offers aesthetic skin rejuvenation services such as BOTOX® Cosmetic, filler treatments, and laser procedures. Known for his approachable nature, patients feel comfortable discussing their concerns with Dr. Fort without feeling judged or ignored.
