Megan Metheny, NP-C

Megan Metheny, NP-C, is a board-certified Adult-Gerontology Nurse Practitioner (AGNP) at Seacoast Dermatology, PLLC, in Exeter and Dover, New Hampshire.

Education has always been of importance to Megan. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) at the University of Saint Joseph (USJ) in West Hartford, Connecticut, and her Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) at Quinnipiac University in Hamden.

Megan graduated with Summa Cum Laude honors, emphasizing dermatology, primary care, and holistic health medicine.

Before joining Seacoast Dermatology, PLLC, she worked with The Vascular Experts. Prior to that, she advanced her clinical skills at Exeter Hospital in Exeter, New Hampshire, and Yale New Haven Hospital (YNHH) in New Haven, Connecticut.

Megan is a member of the Dermatology Nurses Association (DNA), The International Society for the Study of Vulvovaginal Disease (ISSVD-Global), the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing.

She works closely with doctors to diagnose and prescribe treatment for many skin conditions for men, women, and adolescents. Her focus areas include skin cancer detection and other women’s health issues such as adult acne, Gynecologic Dermatology (GYN dermatology), hair loss, nutrition, and anti-aging.
