Mariela Alvarado Aleman, PA-C

Mariela Alvarado Aleman, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant specializing in medical and cosmetic dermatology. She earned both her Bachelor of Science in Medical Studies degree and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies degree from Seton Hill University.  

Mariela is dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care and helping patients feel healthy and confident in their skin. Her professional interests include skin cancer screening and prevention, acne, eczema, psoriasis, and cosmetic treatments that enhance patients’ natural beauty and confidence.  

Born in Puerto Rico and raised in the Yorktown area, Mariela is fluent in both English and Spanish. She is especially passionate about serving the Hispanic and Spanish-speaking community and believes that clear communication is essential to delivering exceptional patient care. She is proud to care for patients throughout Coastal Virginia and is excited to continue her career in the community she calls home.  

Outside of work, Mariela enjoys playing volleyball, Pilates classes, traveling, and spending time with her husband Brett and Cavapoo, Tilly.
