John Wuennenberg, MD. FAAD was probably one of the finest MD I have seen in many years. Being a new patient I expected to wait a long time to get in but only the opposite occurred. my Appointment was schedule by the staff at a time that i could fit into a very busy schedule. Then received two messages with information and a reminder about the appointment. Day of appointment I was treated very politely and went over my history then set up in a room where his nurse explained everything. The MD entered shortly after we had a discussion about the problem and what he would do. Ten minutes later I was done and leaving. I would recommend this office to everyone. The only other place iI have been taken care in this manner was at U of M hospital in Ann Arbor Experience A+++++++

I was an hour late for my appointment because I had written the wrong time on my calendar. Dr. Wuennenberg and the staff in the Marquette office graciously treated me in spite of my extreme tardiness. They also showed me great kindness and empathy as I had recently lost my wonderful husband Don after nearly 60 years of marriage.

I was terrified about having the Mohs surgery for a spot on my face. But Dr. Wunnerberg did an exceptional job. He made sure I was comfortable the whole time and explained everything in fine detail. I went in for my stitches removal this past Tuesday. Abby did an excellent job and Dr. Wunnerberg came in and explained how my scar will heal etc.. from this point on :) Excellent care wonderful facility!

I found Dr. Wuennenberg absolutely capable of successfully performing the surgery. He answered questions and concerns to my satisfaction, provided a thorough description of best practices regarding the care of the wound, and what to expect in the upcoming weeks. I appreciated the opportunity for a followup appointment to discuss the progress of my injury. I received wonderful care throughout the procedure!

We very happy with explanation of the spot on my dads head that needed removing. The Dr. took time for my dad to hear and visual drawing helped us (his adult children) understand the procedure. The nurses were very accommodating for all of us in the room and helpful to make us feel at ease. Thank You

I have had Mohs surgery before but this was my first with Dr Wuennenberg. He was very informative and detailed about each step of the procedure and did excellent work. I have one more procedure upcoming and have no concerns at all. Thank you!

I was honestly terrified when I found out I had to be kept awake for the removal of a spot of skin cancer as it was in a very uncomfortable place near my nose and eye. Dr. Wuennenberg immediately took note of my apprehension without me even having to communicate it and acted accordingly. He was not hurried or rushed and took time to explain the procedure and answer all my questions. I was very squeamish and he knew just what to share and what not to share with me pertaining to the surgery. He was very skilled at distracting me with conversation while the cancer was being removed. After a successful procedure, several stitches were needed to close the wound properly. He was very careful to make sure I was not in any pain or discomfort. The first part of the stitching, although not painful, was very uncomfortable for me with the pressure and pulling involved. In the beginning of that procedure, I thought the emotional distress would overwhelm me but both he and his lovely assistant Abby did everything possible to keep me calm and comfortable. The second half of the stitching was a breeze. I don’t believe I would’ve been capable of enduring such a procedure with any other doctor than this one. He was in tune with my every need while also maintaining patience, gentleness, and kindness. It was a blessing to me to have such a wonderful, caring medical professional in this area. He has found his calling in life. I’m very grateful for Abby and the other assistant who were equally kind, caring and attentive. I’m so grateful for this team of real life angels and wouldn’t go any other place for my skin care needs!
