Jane T. Chew, MD, FAAD

Jane Chew, M.D., a leader in cosmetic, laser and medical dermatology for over twenty years. Dr. Chew received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbia University, and then she received her Medical Degree from the College of Physicians and Surgeons at Columbia University. She completed her Internship in Internal Medicine at New York-Presbyterian Medical Center and then received her training in Dermatology at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where she also served as Chief Resident.

Dr. Chew has been a speaker at the American Academy of Dermatology and has had several publications in peer-reviewed journals in her specialty.

As a board-certified Dermatologist, Dr. Chew is on staff at Howard County General Hospital, an affiliate of Johns Hopkins Medicine. She is also a clinical instructor at the University of Maryland Medical Center Department of Dermatology. Dr. Chew is also a member of the Dermatology Foundation, Skin PAC, and has served as MedChi “Doctor of the Day” at the Maryland State House.

Dr. Chew participates in regular free skin cancer screening events in Howard County where she lives with her husband and two children. She enjoys traveling, running local races and trying out the latest and greatest places to dine in the Baltimore-Washington area.

Excellent doctors and staff. Always takes time to listen. Staff always answers the phone and is so pleasant. Dr Chew has been my dermatologist for probably over 15 years. This office respects your time….they run on time for their appointments.

My sons appointment was scheduled for 4:15 and we arrived at 4:10. At 4:50 he still wasn't seen. I asked if we needed to reschedule and another physician saw us instead. We only needed to be seen for a script refill and the appointment was only 5 minutes. A appointment shouldn't be needed for refills, especially when a copay has to be paid and it only takes 5 minutes to ask questions that could've been asked over the phone. This causes a delay in treatment, a waste of time and money.
