Heather Upchurch is a Certified Physician Assistant. She attended Millikin University, where she graduated in 1994 with numerous honors. She went on to Cook County Hospital where she earned her Physician Assistant degree in 1998. Since earning her degree, she has been practicing in the Chicago suburbs. She completed multiple advanced training courses in topics including dermal filler treatment and Botox® injections. Ms. Upchurch holds membership in the American Society of Cosmetic Dermatology and Aesthetic Surgery, the American Academy of Physician's Assistants, the Illinois Academy of Physician Assistants, and the Society of Dermatology Physicians Assistants. She specializes in analysis and management of conditions affecting the hair, skin, fingernails, and toenails. She has a special interest in aesthetic treatment such as dermal fillers, Botox®, and sclerotherapy. She has more than a decade of experience in excimer laser treatments for vitiligo and psoriasis, as well as laser hair removal.

Based on past dermatology experiences, I was nervous for my appointment. However, Heather was all I could have asked for in a dermatologist.
