Dr. Erica Colleran is a board-certified dermatologist with over 10 years of experience. A native of Ohio, Dr. Colleran came to love the state of Iowa during her time at the University of Iowa where she completed her dermatology residency. She has been the owner of Iowa City Dermatology, now known as Forefront Dermatology, since 2013. Dr. Colleran specializes in skin cancer detection and treatment, treatment of complex dermatologic conditions, and the management of acne, eczema, psoriasis, rashes, and more.

Dr. Colleran is fantastic! My husband and I go yearly for our "mole checks" and she is always efficient and friendly. My mother was her patient and had to have some precancerous moles removed. She was amazing with my mom, which is how we became her patients. She takes any concerns we have seriously and checks thoroughly. She reassures us if everything looks normal, and I trust her to take care of anything that is at all questionable. Her office staff is incredibly personable and efficient too. I can't imagine going anywhere else.
