Shelly Kindahl, PA-C

Ms. Kindahl is from Florence, Alabama and joined Tennessee River Dermatology in 2019.  She graduated Magna Cum Laude from Freed-Hardeman University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 2009. She was a member of the Alpha Chi National Scholarship Society during her undergraduate studies. Ms. Kindahl obtained her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Harding University in 2011 where she served as the president of her physician assistant class.

Ms. Kindahl is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) and state certified in Alabama to practice under the supervision of her attending physician.

Ms. Kindahl is a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Assistants.  She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Alabama Society of Dermatology Professionals.

Before joining Tennessee River Dermatology in 2019, Ms. Kindahl worked in the field of dermatology for seven years.  She is skilled in general dermatology and assisting with skin cancer surgery and cosmetic procedures. She provides dermatological care for patients of all ages at the Florence and Athens clinic locations.
