Randy Banks started his medical career as an Airborne Medic for the United States Army. Due to his exceptional skills, he was admitted to and graduated from the Army Physician Assistant Program. He worked as a certified physician assistant and ended his twenty-year military career as Commander of the largest health clinic remaining in Germany. Randy returned to his home state of Florida, where he provided care in Geriatrics, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, and Dermatology. He now brings that accumulative experience to provide the highest level of care in general dermatology, pediatric dermatology, and surgical dermatology. Randy is focused on helping his community understand skin, hair, and nails in a personalized manner for each person’s unique needs. Randy has 31 years of practice as a Physician Assistant.

Randy is Nationally Certified by NCCPA and licensed by the Florida Board of Medicine. He enjoys exploring the great outdoors with his wife when he is not spoiling his grandkids.

Randy treats patients of all ages and genders and specializes in:

Savant? Maybe. Dr Banks is the greatest. My psoriasis has improved 90% over the first 6 months. Bonus- He explains every mole, melanoma, and skin malfunction clearly and concisely. He'll explain anything you want to know, should you have questions while you're there.

I came to Dr. Randy Banks after a really frustrating and dismissive experience elsewhere, and the difference was night and day. He took my concerns seriously from the moment I walked in. He did a complete, thoughtful workup—far beyond the rushed exams I’d had before—and asked detailed questions about my symptoms, history, and overall health. He suggested a biopsy and while I was totally nervous, his calm demeanour (along with his amazing assistant Monica) helped me get it done! (All while I held my baby in my arms)! He was patient, respectful, and explained everything to me very clearly. Most importantly, he made sure I left with a perfect plan moving forward and with the peace of mind that someone was actually committed to helping me heal. I highly recommend Dr. Banks to anyone looking for a doctor who truly listens, cares, and goes above and beyond to help their patients. He is truly one of the greatest Doctor experiences I’ve ever had and I am sooo thankful!

I am very happy I decided to try Henghold. I have been to several other dermatologists who have prescribed painful laser treatments. Randy gave me a non-invasive therapy regimen to try, which was refreshing. Plus, he is a fantastic person with which to chat! I may have waited five minutes before being seen!
