I have been a patient of Dr. Gershtenson’s for the past eight years and can attest to the fact that she’s a medical marvel and a personal phenom. I have complex, multi-systemic chronic illness and she’s always seeking to understand my unique body so she can contextualize my dermatologic issues. Recently, I had a neurological crisis in her exam room — the kind of emergency that most dermatologists will never witness or attend to in their careers. Dr. Gershtenson is thorough and gives a clear assessment of the intervention that is available and needed. I grew up in a time and place where sunscreen was hardly a word, and I now bear the evidence that it would have been a good idea to use! My appointment today with Dr.Gershtenson was probably the best appointment I've ever had regarding rosacea on my face. Its been a battle for 2 years and I think i finally got a great doctor. She listened and gave me a great new routine and plan. I don't want to bash any other dermatologist but in the past I was in and out of appointments so fast and left wondering what is going on and with medications that weren't working and no POA. Thank you so much !
