Terrible experience after surgery. I called 3 times on a Friday in an emergency situation. I never received a call back before they closed and had to go to urgent care. Too many patients for an understaffed office. I have my own business and don't run it this way. You have several one star reviews concerning your office staff.I believe it is time to make some changes and correct this problem in that area. Oh let me add one more thing. It is now Monday and still no call. They just plain don't care. Kinda scary.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Chen for many years. He is excellent at what he does. He and his staff are very thorough. We are both very thankful that we found Dr. Chen!

My teen had two appointments with Dr. Chen this week. We made the appointment to have a spot on his face checked. My son wanted to talk about acne and wanted to have a mole removed so he can start shaving without cutting it. We were told that the first appointment would be a skin check, and we needed to schedule another appointment for the mole removal, and a third appointment to discuss acne. We’ve been going to Forefront for years, and we’ve never had to schedule separate appointments. But, I digress. That wasn’t even the main issue. Dr. Chen was terse and rude with his responses. We were made to feel like our questions were dumb and we were wasting his time. We got a dismissive answer and an eye roll from the doctor when asked if he could check if a scab was healing properly on my sons face. It was embarrassing. Dr. Chen was also rude to his nurse in the room with him. He talked down to her like she was a child. He was so unprofessional and his bedside manner is terrible. His nurse

Two star for staff, zero for Chen. Will not return. Many times at this office, first time with Chen. Full body scan, super fast, had no interest in looking at tattooed skin, told me I looked good and to schedule for yearly without ever asking if I had questions or concerns. Had to cut him off to express a concern before he left the room and he didn’t respond to my comment. His aid seemed flustered and out of sorts, but was very nice to me. As I left the exam room to go to the front he was arguing with her in front of others. Step-son had a mole removed the same day and Chen was extremely chastising and talked down to his staff during the process. During our son’s first visit he dismissed any conversation about questions not related to what he perceived as the purpose of the visit. Probably a fine doc, but bedside manners are rough and not worth returning to.

Forefront dermatology and Dr Chen have been monumental in my comfort and treating issues that otherwise leave me shut in & miserable. Efficient, knowledgeable & so helpful with insurance/billing. Great team. Wonderful experiences.

Always professional and thorough. I always feel that my health is a priority for Dr. Chen during the visit. I have been his patient for 2 decades. I have had several instances where he caught things early and I avoided possible serious, longer term outcomes. The most dangerous threats lurk below the skin. So, it is comforting to have someone who is watching out for these cancers that most of us would never know about until we were dealing with something more visible and likely more progressed. I trust him!
