Lauren Copp, PA-C

Lauren Copp is a board-certified physician assistant with over 13 years of experience specializing in dermatology. Originally from North Carolina, she earned her undergraduate degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before completing her Master of Medical Science (MMSc) at Emory University’s physician assistant program in Atlanta, graduating summa cum laude.

She began her dermatology career in San Diego, California, at one of the nation’s leading pediatric dermatology centers. Since then, she’s provided comprehensive dermatologic care to patients of all ages across the country, including in Ohio, North Carolina, and Mississippi.

In addition to clinical practice, she has served as faculty for physician assistant programs at Case Western Reserve University and Mississippi State University. Teaching and mentoring future PAs is one of the most rewarding aspects of her career, and she is passionate about sharing both knowledge and enthusiasm for the field of dermatology.

“Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, our young daughter, and our dog, Trip, as we explore everything Springfield has to offer. I also enjoy cooking, traveling, skiing—and I’m currently learning how to golf (with plenty of humility!).”
