Kevin McMullen, MD, FAAD

Dr. Kevin McMullen is a board-certified dermatologist specializing in medical and surgical dermatology. A native Bostonian, Dr. McMullen trained and practiced on both coasts before moving to Montana. He is excited to practice in a small community while also enjoying his outdoor passions of fly fishing, skiing, and astrophotography.

As a physician, Dr. McMullen believes in practicing in the most honest, ethical, and personable way he can. He ensures that every concern a patient has is addressed and that together they develop a treatment plan that improves not only the condition but also the patient’s overall health. Dr. McMullen enjoys seeing patients of all ages and all conditions. From acne to psoriasis and hair loss to cyst removal, he treats and manages common and complex conditions of the hair, skin, and nails.

Outside of healthcare, you will find Dr McMullen and his family at the river, on the mountain, or enjoying the night sky!

Dr. McMullen was a pleasure to be with. He explained everything to me and communicated the needs for good skin care and how to protect yourself from the sun to prevent damage to your skin. Me, being an older set in my ways kinda guy doesn’t always listen to young Dr’s. But after he explained about using sun block or sun blocking shirts as soon as I got home I ordered up some shirts to block the sun when I’m outside working. Thank you Dr. McMullen.

Even though I had been referred by my primary doctor, I was self conscious that the issue I brought into the office would be too minor for a specialist to concern himself with. I could not have been more wrong. My issue was taken seriously and the entire staff immediately put me at ease. The doctor was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain what he was doing and why it was being done. He also provided me with some lifestyle guidance to protect my skin while I pursued my outdoor activities. A great experience that eleviated a lot of my concerns and I would be very comfortable in returning for any future appointments.
